| Jay Watts User Info... | Okay, take a look in your 7" collection - there's one that you bought at some Lil' Fernwood or Pandora Projects show from smiling Malcolm in 1996... Maybe it's beige, screenprinted on recycled paper, has a woodcut print of some kids playing, or a tree or something. Yeah, that's Treadwell. And then they grew up, traded in guitars for ARP synthesizers and white outfits, and started some fucking breakdancing synthpop group called Dance Disaster Movement. They're playing tonight, January 2nd, at Thursdays Pub at 1821 Cook St. Joining them on stage will be the indominable Andy Dixon, of the Red Light Sting, DBS, and the Epidemic, under the moniker Secret Mommy. It's him and a laptop, so if you're into all that glitch-type stuff, well, umm, yeah... Some new local group called the Span is opening. I haven't heard them yet because Malcolm won't let me hear the CD. He's hiding it from me. Okay. See at least 80 of you tonight! - Thu, 2 Jan 2003 2:09pm | ||
