Suzy King

Suzy King is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in installation, with reclaimed textiles, ceramics, video, and sound as her current mediums. Formally trained in photography and design, her practice evolved from building photography sets into immersive, sensory spaces. Influenced by her time performing in a two-piece band, video, sound, and experience became integral to her approach to art making.

Community and collaboration are central to her work, often shaped by her involvement in grassroots art and music scenes. Now based in the forest in the North Okanagan, King continues to explore how space, objects, and media can evoke emotion and connection.
