Nik Olaz User Info... | I'm a Meshuggah fan, i'll be honest. I think this bands ability to do no wrong is great. Say what you will about Nothing (highly underrated IMO) and I was a definate trip, but Catch Thirtythree is just bizarre. It is like one 45 min. song split into thirteen tracks. The drums were individually recorded and sampled in order to save Thomas Haake time in the recording process, you even can't tell at all. But the disk is a pretty big oddity. The Meshuggah guys like fucking with us I guess. The first three tracks are the same track, but not. It's a little more "ambient" in some areas, although i'm stretching that word to describe what's going on its as close as I can get. The word is that this is just another "Experiment" and their new full length isnt coming out until possibly the end of the year. It doesn't matter, this and I will do until they reveal another mindfuck on us. - Sat, 9 Apr 2005 1:17pm
bringer User Info... | Yeah man, I just picked up "I" today, and I'm declaring them the most insane band on the planet, Dillinger has nothing on these guys. - Tue, 12 Apr 2005 7:49pm
