Totally awsome EP. Though I'm a little jaded how everybody is doing the same neo-political songs nowadays - Vic Ruggiero is a song writer that can really pull it off adding some much needed and overlooked elements and style that most bands of any genre wouldn't be able to pull off. If anybody gets the chance to pick this one up - Do so. - Thu, 2 Dec 2004 1:38pm

Hey, it seems alittle over-done right now but, well thats what has to happen. Politics in music is never rare. It's just that some shitty war happens and everyone has something to say. I think NOFX has done it best on the whole bush thing. Anyways, look at the sixties, and look at the impact the music had on the people, the movement, and the world prospective at the time. For older music fans it seems old and boring, but the younger followers need to here it. It will help make sure they know whats going on and which side to be on. - Sat, 4 Dec 2004 6:52pm

I agree that music is a great tool for political change and for motivating and educating the listener. My only complaint is that it has hit a level of redundency and a lot of the bands whole delve into it have neither the lyrical potentcy or intellect to pull off a good song that has the ability to captivate it's audience. A lot of the stuff now is a far cry from the Bob Dylan school of music and when a band fails to deliver, they can easily turn a political song into something that sounds more like a community service announcment.

Basically when an album like this comes out - It reaffirms my faith in music no matter what the subject matter may be. - Tue, 7 Dec 2004 5:39pm
