| Jo Fancy User Info... | As fo recent the FCC (Big Fernwood) has taken to establishing what may well be the makings of one of the more productive things Victoria Punk & the likes could commend. A commitee consisting of any promoters, youth or interesteds of the likes & the FCC board itself is afoot, currently doing the entirety of the all ages bookings at the FCC. Anyone so inclined is welcome & encouraged to join, promoter or otherwise. The commitee will meet bi-monthly, discussing possible events, their coordination & executing them as a whole, with each member's input boasting no more preceding value than that of any other. This model of promoting, as we hope to prove in due time, may well establish the process as more accesible & functional for all so inclined, as well as easier by means of support from the commitee & the backing of the community center- an age old burden in most rights. Rental fees will be subsidized to the commitee by the community center through appropriation of alotted funds & the reduced rate will be taken from the door, rather than the inconvenient precedent of frontingthe money, or borrowing it from, say, Chuck. This boasts a great deal of promise for facilitating the functionality of the Victoria punk scene & we hope very much that we can muster some of you local mugsy fucks, herbies, skins, cats, rudies & punks of the likes, so's we can each have a hand in contributing to what could easily prove itself to be one of the more deserved & formidable blessings our lot have be thrown in far too lengthy an era. The next meeting for the commitee is tueday, April 13th, 5:30 @ the FCC, across from Vic High (the BIG FERNWOOD). Again, I hope very much that a few of you folk'll see to taking part & having a say in the what's what as to Victoria's punk/ska/whathaveyou scene(s).
