METALNECK User Info... | Well I had to sit through TBA, and I will never make myself endure that again. Moneyshot ruled, they played great and I had a blast. I never saw Crowned King because I just wanted to see Moneyshot again and so I took off after their set. - Sun, 25 Jan 2004 4:09am

Lester Possummouth User Info... | I arrived at lucky bar last Thursday with good intentions, I refrained from fighting, all punches were pulled. A double votka & red bull feels nice. TBA opened up that night, now, I had never heard these chaps play before, and at first I was very sceptical...but then, It occured to me..this was the most original sound I'd heard in a Coons age. Now, I can see how this style may not appeal to some, but that doesnt escape the fact that these guys have something keen on their hands. I enjoyed the way their lead singer got the crowd talking, a fine way to start things off, inforcing the fact that everyone should have a drink in their hands, joy to the heavens. Cumshot hit the stage, and I found new vigor in my dainty soul. It felt like the lead singer was ripping my clothes off with his MINDDDDDDDDD. I was sweaty. CROWNED Queen was fucking cool, but I will say this much, the song those joes have on the radio kinda blows compared to the other stuff I heard, the dark stuff, the hard stuff..the morning wood of the album. They were impressive. fun show, good show. good people - Wed, 28 Jan 2004 9:53pm
youth enrage User Info... | I went to see this show even thought it's really not my scene or style of music. I generally don't have any kind of specific problem with pop punk [a la moneyshot and crowned king], only that I'd rather invest my time in the hardcore scene and genuine expressions of culture rather than imitations of manufactured bands. I liked TBA, even though they aren't in my usual genre of things, because they were refreshing, had a bit of energy, and were playing good music with alternate influences. It's kind of disgusting to see someone trash TBA [and let's be clear, I barely know the band] and then uphold watered down pop punk as some kind of amazing live experience. There's a reason I have a moneyshot cd on my desk as a coaster - that they had to promote them and give them away for free at shows to people who obviously dislike their music speaks volumes. I question why they, and their fans, feel the need to make disparaging remarks about other bands. Perhaps they'll all grow up at about the same time they grow out of blink-182 - Thu, 29 Jan 2004 3:06pm
