This cycle will always spiral out of control. I never perform violence or condone it, but I easily understand the frustrations which allow the temptation to arise; It's only human nature. Pushed to the limit, I may react likewise, who knows? It hardly matters if we find out this is about Iraq or not. Obviously someone is pretty pissed off, and you're gonna go on poking them. What do you think will happen eventually? I do practice what I preach and have repeatedly encouraged my government to not get involved in Iraq. I will admit to being a tad surprised they decided the way they did and I thanked them for it. Terror attacks could happen in Canada of course, but it's unlikely if we continue to mind our own fuckin business. If Canada were in the same position as England, Damn right I would be demanding that Canada leave Iraq. (Of course I would have been demanding that all along) Some Foreign policies *need* to change my man. Governments of the world should take events like today as a lesson in the future. If you think governments of the free world have been behaving honourably for the last 50 years then you and I have totally different views of history. What is the message? These guys are interested only in death... simple death at that. Bombing a transit system is pretty basic and does very little in the giant scheme of life in the Western World. Who rides Public Transit? Normal working people who were always against the war in Britain to begin with. Who was not hit? The people al-Qaida pretends to hate, driving safely in the SUVs. They got tied up in Traffic, oh darn, I guess they'll pass the time counting the profits from middle eastern oil. Any one of us could inflict the same or more damage, no problem, there just isn't a point and Dancing with the Stars in on. If al-Qaida was all about making a bold statement and wanted to fuck with our Western Ways, they would have bombed Oil Rigs in Saudi, Oil Ports in Alaska and maybe the Port of Los Angelas all at the same time. In one day, our world economy would collapse and life would suck for EVERYBODY in the Western World... but not many people would be dead and the message would be loud and clear.
