If you're familiar with Coalesce some of this album might come as a surprise to you. There are "clean" vocals, but performed in a bluesy manner (not cheesy at all) that work really well with everything that's going on. Also noticable is the guitar/bass mix which utilizes less distortion, and mixing the guitar in one ear and bass in the other. OX is the longest Coalesce release I believe. 14 tracks. Really good album. Probably what they should be putting out at this point in time. - Sun, 17 May 2009 11:56am
