| brad | ya my fav was hello rockview...borders and boundaries just didn't have it...and the one track i heard from this new one convinced me not to bother with them ...the older releases are very good (loosing streak/ loosers kings and things we just don't undertand)..just lacking a bit in the production. - Sun, 8 Jun 2003 12:44am | ||
| ian too late User Info... | i love losing streak an di also love hello rockview boarders and boundries had to grow on me but when it did its been one of my favorite albums it ddint even matter that theres no very little ska mostly just emo poppy punk with horns (side note thats what they wanted to do from the beggining according to there bio on there site)anyways i've only heard a few songs from anthem the single sucks nuts and is mainstream pop punk drivvile but some of the other stuff is still really good not there best album byu anymeans but still i think a decent listen - Sun, 8 Jun 2003 12:58am | ||
| fuckface | when i lived in van i saw them play along with the ataris. What a bunch of crap. I mean dont get me wrong, they were all awsome performers, but the music sucked the nig asshole. The lead singer said to me after the show, they were going to start writing new shit with less empasis on emotion and get a little more hardcore, so was i was kindof stoked to hear their new shit. | Soundcheck CFUV User Info... | Ok, Dan here, it was Scott up there. I like the album, call me an Emo lover, I dare you! Ya, there's not very many horns and there are those weird funk bits, but after a half dozen listens I must say that I like it. It's the same thing that I went through with "Hello Rockview" and "Borders and Boundaries". It wasn't like Pezcore where I was hooked from the beginning and it is more rock, less ska, but it's still good. - Wed, 11 Jun 2003 11:19pm | ||
