It's been such a long wait - I knew it would be worth it though & sure enough - I was right.

Hands down the best metal album I have [ever] heard - It literally destroys everything I have ever thought I knew about music - butchered it - & then hand delivered it to me and force fed until I was gagging on my own knowledge.

the opening track, We Never Come In Peace - sets the tone for the entire album. I need to get my hands on the lyrics because what I have deciphered so far is so brutal I can barely stand to mention it - staunchly anti-Religious & pro slaughtering of capitalism.

the Arbiter is one of my favorites but front to back this is just the most eloquently arranged album it blows my mind. the closer - Black Sites is one of the strongest tracks but like I said - I thoroughly enjoy it front to back - 11 tracks & just under 40 minutes.

The most technically proficient band out there right now besides maybe Origin.

It drops september 30th on Relapse - I suggest you get your hands on one. I'm hoping for a limited vinyl release. - Wed, 24 Sep 2008 6:44pm Edited: Wed, 24 Sep 2008 6:51pm

MI w/ FTF & origin would be insane - i wish i had the ability [or desire] to go to the US to see the tour - but I am completely satisified i saw Origin last week - have seen FTF a few times and they are coming back in nov w/ Putrescence & Impaled!!! yowza

seriosuly though - in all fairness to other death metal bands out there - considering the ramifications this album is going to have on the masses you all might as well just hang up the instruments and pick a different path - because this one has been scorched - Wed, 24 Sep 2008 11:24pm
