| stefan User Info... | it took me a while to get around to actually give this album a good listen but once I did i was floored. i had no idea it was a tribute cd... well tribute to victoria bands i guess. listening party doing a render useless song, SHIT(?) doing nomeansno, tons of bands are covered here. i think the songs that really stick out for me are johnny and the moon's cover of sky scratchers - originally by daddy's hands, run chico run's cover of the fine options' addus trolly and hank pine and lily fawn do i'm like a bird, yes the nelly furtado song! i think this album is a great concept. i've not actually heard of a lot of these bands beyond seeing the names on posters or in passing mention but it's cool to feel a little re-energized about victoria's music scene. i highly recommend checking it out. - Mon, 18 Feb 2008 11:55pm | ||
