| Ty Stranglehold User Info... | It was a fine night! Thanks to all who came out, and sorry to those who didn't get in. Doublecuts kicked it off with our first show. Not too bad considering the idea of the band was first brought up the Tuesday before. two jams, five songs... PUNK. A brief Hoosegow set ensued. Rick's finger was back in the groove, but the bass amp wasn't complying, so it was a short set. Good thing because the booze was setting in by that point. The China Creeps took the stage next. Serious skate thrash mayhem ensued, with one of the craziest skate pits I've ever seen. bonlesses and acid drops off the stage were abundant. The booze really started taking hold. Sheglank'd Shoulders are the Calgary band that are secretly a Victoria band. Everyone loves them, and for good reason. Hard hitting skate punk and a maniac singer always makes for a good time.
