Sofia Hernandez

Mexican artist from Durango, currently studying in Victoria, BC. My art journey began with a Diploma in Art History in 2023, followed by Visual Arts studies at UJED in 2022. I’ve trained in oil painting under Carlos Cárdenas, and my work focuses on portraits and historical themes, often influenced by the Baroque period. I’ve exhibited in solo and group shows, won second place in the Hope Art contest, and sold over 10 oil paintings. I’m passionate about continuing my growth as an artist and contributing to the art community.
