Message Board > Gear Buy & Sell > 1967 Fender Super Reverb(blackline-silverface) |
sixty cycle hum User Info... | One of the very first silverface Super Reverbs. Has blackline faceplate and drip-edge on grill. Chassis date stamp is 44th week of 67' and all transformers and pots date from 66'-67'. Has the same AB-763 circuit as Blackface amps. Has non-original cts alnico speakers from a 1974 Super. I would rate the amp as players amp and not a collector as certain things such as the speakers and grill are non-original. The transformers and electronics are all original with the exception of a recent cap-job. Blackface sound for half the price--$1000 obo. [email protected] - Sun, 13 Feb 2005 6:32am
laprider User Info... | Hmmm...who did the Cap job...and did they use spragues or generic filter caps. I'd like to check it out though. - Mon, 14 Feb 2005 11:55am
sixty cycle hum User Info... | Someone is coming to look at the amp tonight. If it does not sell I will take the cap-tray off and try to post a picture. - Mon, 14 Feb 2005 7:03pm
