Graham was born in Oshawa Ontario Canada in 1961 and developed a love and passion for music at a very young age.
His father was an extremely talented and accomplished musician and teacher who was also Queen Elizabeth The Second's personal band leader and conductor during the 1950's.
Graham spent many years in the Toronto area and Thunder Bay Ontario until the age of 10 when his father decided to return to England for a new teaching position.
Graham spent 6 years in England surrounded by a vibrant musical environment from 1971 to 1977 seeing bands such as Queen,Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and many more.
He first wanted to be a drummer, then a singer until finally settling with guitar as his main instrument at age 15 after seeing the likes of Jimmy Page and Ritchie Blackmore playing with fury and passion.
Upon returning to Canada in 1977, Graham spent many years in Thunder Bay and the greater Toronto area honing his skills as a guitarist/vocalist and as a live sound engineer professionally for the entire 1980's touring Canada.
Graham began songwriting in the late 80's and has over 100 finished songs to his credit.
Graham played in many successful cover bands over the last 5 decades including Panzer, RoadHouse, HullaBalloo, Phoenix, CenterLine, Nasty Habits, Superficial, Surface Tension, The Rhythm Kings and Powerhouse to name a few.
One of his proudest accomplishments was to getting to play lead guitar and sing with "Doug and The Slugs" while living in Vancouver during 1996, they toured across Canada playing shows in every province.
Graham relocated to Victoria in the summer of 2024 to purse his lifelong dream of having a band that plays at least one set of his original songs with the hopes of playing festivals and opening slots for recording acts and touring bands, with the ultimate goal recording and promoting his first ever album.
His latest project is "The Graham Francis Band" which features original songs, and classic rock and blues cover songs to entertain and keep the crowds dancing.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
