We come from earth and will return to earth, but in-between those great moments we get to live a full, meaningful, creative life on earth! I love that I can take simple clay - mud and create something. It doesn’t always have to be useful or beneficial - though sometimes it is, but creating can be simply for the joy and curiosity of it. I always hope that if love and care is put into the making of something, the one who receives it will feel some of that magic. I deeply realizes the profound connection between what is received and what is given and I strive to reflect this connection.

I like to carve texture into the clay and use my own home-made glazes to reflect the calming and joyful colours of the earth - ocean blues and turquoise, forest greens and wheat-field whites.
