SublimeKid User Info... | What's up Y'all? I have a Tascam 788 I don't use much. I'm looking to get rid of it as I want to start doing some digital recording on the ol' compy. 5.0 Gig 8-Track hard disk recorder Built-in digital multieffects 250 Virtual Tracks Flexible routing and high-quality digital mixing MIDI synchronization SCSI port for CD burning and data backup Unit is in near-perfect condition, having only been used a couple of times. I only have the AC adaptor for it but you can get the Manuals off http://www.tascam.com . The SCSI burners are pretty easy to find on the internet as well I was just too lazy to ever get one. This would be a good little toy for solo work or some younger artists that want to start recording their material but don't want to spend a briefcase full of cash.. I am trying to get some cash to put towards a decent sound card for the computer so I would like to get 350 bones for it. Being the Live Vic forum I will obviously entertain offers...sound good? - Thu, 27 Jan 2005 3:01pm
KRUZTY User Info... | How many tracks can be recorded at once and how many inputs does it have for instruments? cheerz Kent - Thu, 27 Jan 2005 4:05pm
SublimeKid User Info... | It has 6 quarter-inch inputs on the back. Two are stereo in/out for your effects loop if you have some pedals or modelers you want to use that it doesn't have. The other four are TRS for Bass Mic Geetar what-have-you.. You can record up to 4 tracks at a time then bounce them. It has two seperate effects processors. You can also customize your own effects to pretty much any sound you want and save them into the library. http://www.tascam.com/Products/788/788_cutsheet.pdf Here is Tascam's overview of it. It goes a bit deeper into specs if you wanted to check it out. - Thu, 27 Jan 2005 6:09pm
