| MIKE SATURDAY User Info... | FOR SALE. One kick-ass tour van. From our band to yours, ready to go, needs no work, just buy it and drive.. DETAILS. 1982 Dodge 12 seater. Holds either: up to 8 people + gear with no loft (12 seater –one row) or up to 5 people + gear + loft. (12 seater –two rows) Has a tapedeck and a pretty decent speaker system. Has working Air Conditioning, lots of overhead lights, etc. Windows all the way around, but tinted well. Side windows open to let out Tour Smell. Seats are WAY comfortable. TECH STUFF. Everything works on this van except the cruise control and sometimes the blinker doesn’t turn off when you make a turn. It’s in amazing condition for an ’82. Lots of tread left on the tires. We just got the brakes done in July. New starter, aswell. THE STORY My band CLOAK bought this van in June off our guitarist’s friend’s dad. He was an old friend from elementary school so we knew his dad wouldn’t fuck us around when we said “will it make it to PEI and back?” We fixed the starter which was iffy, and we got the brakes done so we wouldn’t lose it going through the mountains. In July we toured for 28 days from Victoria to PEI and back and we had NO problems with the van. I think it only burned 4 quarts of oil the entire trip. When we got home one of our guitarists moved to Montreal. We’ve been really bummed out and didn’t want to sell the van because it’s such a sweet van that we’re like “what if we start another band, we’ll need a van and this one is amazing” but we need the money, so we’re going to sell it. I’m posting this shit on live vic because we really want to see the van go to another band who would use it well. It truly is an amazing beast.
