| odb User Info... | Damn its hard to find a cheap scooter in this town!!! anytime I see one in the paper for cheap it sells the first day. The only thing can say is you can buy an old rental scooter from SG Power on Hillside road for $800. but be carefull, a 5 year old rental has as much wear and tear as a 10 year old scooter. - Tue, 25 May 2004 3:52pm | ||

| odb User Info... | My scooter costs $150 a year to insure. if it 50cc or less engine you can ride it with a regular drivers licence, if its over 50cc than you need a motorcycle licence. For this reason most companies stopped making scooters over 50cc's 15 years ago. Getting a motorcycle licence is a pain in the ass. - Thu, 27 May 2004 3:16pm | ||
| Jimmy User Info... | Ah, Legally for the 100 one needs a class five licence, but it's too small to interest the olde slow po, so I've got away with riding it illegally for over a year now, it's not too much money to get a class five though, and insurance is still only like $100 a year, for a price, gee, I don't know... make an offer; what you want to spend. | odb User Info... | From what I recall if you get caught doing anything illegal when you have the "N" you lose your licence for 2 years. I agree most cops have no idea which scooters are 50cc and which are bigger but it is written on thew registration papers and if they pull you over you could be fucked. I would ride the 100cc without the proper licence but I'd only get a fine if I get caught. You, however, have more to risk. - Fri, 28 May 2004 5:33am | ||

| Jimmy User Info... | It's a two-stroke, but with oil injection, so the benefit of more power and sounding like a chain-saw on steroids, without having to measure oil and mix.
