KidComa User Info... | Hi, I am selling my recording setup because I need the money to buy a car. This is a great setup if you want to turn your computer into an 8 channel Digital Audio workstation. I have these priced individually but I'd rather sell them together for $1000 obo. In case anyone saw this earlier, the cables and rack unit are sold. Alesis Studio32 Mixer w/ original manual - $800 obo http://www.propermeasure.com/mixer.jpg (Rack unit not included, it has been sold) View specs at http://www.alesis.com/products/studio32/ Gadget Labs Wave/824 Recording Interface + PCI Card - $400 obo http://www.propermeasure.com/gadgetlabs.jpg - 8 analog ins and outs on 19" rack space breakout box, 24 bit, 48000hz. The company has gone out of business but there is a yahoo group where one of the members writes new drivers. I got my Athlon 1.3 down to 1ms latency with the Windows Me ASIO drivers. The discussion group is "GadgetLabs" if you join http://groups.yahoo.com/ Latest WinXP drivers and other drivers are at http://www.rhythminmind.net/gadgetlabs/ There is also a page at http://www.glug.homestead.com/ that has old drivers and manuals. This unit also comes with a 30' parallel cable that I special ordered a couple of years ago. This allows you to set the unit up 30' away if you want to monitor in another room. This unit does not have built in preamps - an external mixer or other preamp(s) is needed (hence the Alesis Studio32). The AC adapter for the breakout box is a little finicky but works fine once you find the "sweet spot." e-mail Chris at [email protected] if interested. I am open to offers.
