| TLRecords User Info... | Hi there! I'm looking for someone to help me with a couple of projects that I'm working on. I'm looking for a guitarist/arranger who is up for a challenge. I have been involved in the music scene since 1996, songwriting and working with a band to some success. I recently moved here and have been gathering together talented and wonderful players to help bring my madness to life. :D Anyway, I need a lead guitarist who can be simple, but can also understand complexities of arrangement and harmony and capture both (and who is really creative!). I need someone who will commit to working with me and who is open-minded, hard-working, enthusiastic and who will be willing to work towards mutual success as artists. Some influences -- Indian rhythms, Irish folk music, Tribal drums, poetic/simple/haiku, quirky sentiments, heartfelt emotions brought to life through music, creative staging, artistic ritual, harmonies and of course, being able to laugh at oneself. I hope that comes through in my music, but I'm afraid the vision is beyond my abilities, that's why I need you! :D Musically, I am inspired by Fleetwood Mac, Travis, Coldplay, Folk Implosion, Peter Gabriel, U2, October Project, Bjork and the Cult amongst others -- but those are similar to what I'm getting at. I want to make simple, yet intensely passionate music. We don't have to have the exact same likes musically -- but you will be someone who is respectful of all music and who can be creative with what you know and who loves the unique entity that 'we' create.
