Mr. Horse User Info... | Yep, I know that the Vic police can have it tough at times with dunking assholes, however in this case there appears to be at no time a compromise to the safety of both the police or the public. This is clearly excessive force by Victoria police. BTW I have forward this video to the news desk at the A channel. Look for the full story about this in tomorrows news. - Tue, 23 Mar 2010 3:57pm Edited: Tue, 23 Mar 2010 3:57pm

Evangelium User Info... | We need 2 threads about this why? - Tue, 23 Mar 2010 10:02pm
Ms. Choksondik User Info... | Why does it matter? I posted it in the appropriate section. Now you've got 2 places to defend the idiots that we pay to "protect" us. Are you gonna argue that the pigs were just doing their job when they drove that UVIC students head into the ground in the holding cells, leaving him with permenant brain damage? I guess the few cops in there couldn't handle a drunk in handcuffs. Now I'm not gonna say every cop is the same, in fact im sure 90% of them could have handled the situation much better. The fact is that someone videotaped an officer acting inappropriately and he now has to be responsible for his actions. - Wed, 24 Mar 2010 12:16pm
Sati User Info... | I have trouble understanding when people "in positions of authority" get overly dramatic when doing their job. Don't they understand that its obvious (& usually laughable) to anyone watching, when their behaviour isn't warranted? Nevermind the kicking, I mean the other cop barrelling across to push around the now docile guy who'd already sat his butt down on the ground. Sure adrenalin and anger are one thing, but its their job to show some balanced restraint. Isn't that part of why we pay them, so ordinary citizens don't lose it and resort to beating the crap out of assholes like that ourselves? We've all got issues. They're supposed to suck it up. - Wed, 24 Mar 2010 12:25pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | Oh well, he'll get what's coming to him... ...and by that I mean probably something like a week's suspension with full pay. Or a stern on camera talking-to (and then a pat on the back off camera). - Wed, 24 Mar 2010 12:48pm
Jl User Info... | guess it doesn't feel to good when you get whats coming to you. My thoughts go out to the kid lying basically dead because of these "victims of police brutality". Oh well, i guess you cant win'm all. - Thu, 25 Mar 2010 11:09am
