cooper User Info... | Anyone familiar with the R28 mod for the MXR Phase 90? It involves a simple clip of resistor 28, and that's exactly what I did, but now I don't get any phased signal, just bypassed. What did I do wrong, how do I fix it, and who can fix it for me? thanks - Sat, 12 Mar 2005 4:16pm
laprider User Info... | a lot of these mods just spell trouble...check your solder joints...pretty easy to short something at that size...do you have a scope? Then you can trace where you lose your signal. but then again, nothing was wrong with the original pedals so I never understood all these mods. i always maintain anyone that could be able to be blindfolded and tell the difference between my real ts9 or my reissue when I"m playing live..well I'd give them my ts9 shit you can't tell my 808 from the others . my two bits - Sat, 12 Mar 2005 4:30pm
cooper User Info... | What this mod does is apparently remove the gain stage that Dunlop introduced when they took over production. This is how I understand it at least. Sure, I'd love a 70's script logo, but I'm not going to dish out the big bucks for one of those. Plus, this has the LED. Lotta good that's doing me now... - Sat, 12 Mar 2005 7:41pm
