Jai Joans User Info... | I'm gonna be spending some time on on the road between here and Saskatoon. Anyone know what the cheapest cell phone with the best service in b.c., Alb. and Sask is? Since I'm broke, I'm mostly interested in paying as little as possible up front.... - Mon, 8 Sep 2003 8:57pm
jepsycho User Info... | I would suggest finding someone you know that has a cell phone that they don't use anymore. At the place that I work we end up with unclaimed found phones all the time and we have never had a problem getting them hooked up in our name with any of the companies. I don't know about the other companies but at AT&T if you bring in your own phone you dont get locked into a contract! And you don't have to pay for a phone or start up fee. - Mon, 8 Sep 2003 9:36pm
ziggy User Info... | you will want a phone that can pick up analog signals as digital can be limiting in rural areas (in fact digital service is pretty much non existant in rural areas). for this reason stay away from fido. look into telus or rogers AT&T. - Tue, 9 Sep 2003 3:07am
