I want to hear what people think about this war looming over our heads. What should Canada do if faced with a war led by the U.S., sanctioned or unsanctioned by the UN? Are we doomed to be the faithful lap-dog that follows America into everything, or will we break away and learn to say no? - Wed, 12 Feb 2003 10:42pm
areo personally, i think that our main concern should be to keep our relationship with america as good as possible. unfortunately, the u.s. exerts a huge influence on our economy, and on our country in general, so to piss them off is a stupid move. sure, the war is probably a bad move, but canada's contribution would be more symbolic than anything asyways, right.

as far as the war goes, saddam truly is dangerous, but alienating the entire islamic world is probably more dangerous. - Wed, 12 Feb 2003 11:34pm
Awake Come on. Everyone in the world knows that bush is full of shit. Everyone in the world knows that the states are the biggest terrorist group in the world. Everyone knows that they are going for global control. We all know that. Now, I have never liked the american government, but in the last couple of months I went from anti-american to pro-american. Everyone in the world knows that all of these wars led by the states are none of their business and they are just taking them over. We all know this. Now, honestly, they are going to get away with it, you know they will. Canada will pretend that we don't want to fight until Bush says jump, and then we will jump. I am pro-american because everyone knows what is going on, and we are just going to let them do it. We are watching the biggest criminal in the world on TV almost everyday, and we bitch and bitch, and bend over and let him do it. Seriously, how can you not respect the fact that the puppet known as bush is going to legally gain control over a large chunk of this world. The next president will just continue on doing the same shit and we will bitch and then go buy a McDonalds hamburger and drink a Grande Latte. - Thu, 13 Feb 2003 12:39am
