Aves User Info... | Something thats been bugging me forever is that not one venue in this town has any sort of acoustical treatment. The best sound equipment in the world won't mean anything if the room sounds like shit. Its easy to want to spend your budget on equipment. Room treatment is something most people don't think about, but it makes the biggest difference. If you are an owner/manager of a venue please take some time to learn about this. You're venue could be the one that stands out and I would have somewhere I could stand going to a show. Here are a couple educating links that are geared towards freelance recording engineers but you can still apply this info to making venues sound great. It takes a bit of an investment, or if you do enough research you could DIY it for a lot cheaper. http://www.gikacoustics.com/education.html http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jul00/articles/faqacoustic.htm Hope that gives you a start, thanks for listening. - Sun, 1 Nov 2009 11:36am | ||

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
For online / livestream events. This will allow you to include a livestream url and have it featured in our livestream listings.
