The innovative and energized 14 piece "Hypatia Creative Women's Jazz Orchestra" lead by Lorae Farrell is a predominately female jazz orchestra exploring the creative music of jazz innovators such as McCoy Tyner,
Dave Holland, Chucho Valdes, Kenny Wheeler, Charles Mingus, plus the world debut of two new compositions by Juno Award Winning Hugh Fraser written specifically for this ensemble.

Features three saxes, three trombones, three trumpets, flute, viola, cello, voice, piano, bass & drums.

We have performed with blues legend, Jim Byrnes, Juno Award winner Hugh Fraser, Toronto vocal star Christine Duncan and more.
