Event Description
Know your rights at work!
Join Red Cedar Advocacy Centre and the Workers' Solidarity Network for a community-focused workshop exploring workers' rights in British Columbia.
This is the first in Red Cedar's four-part Know Your Rights workshop series, with upcoming sessions on tenants' rights, protest rights, and conflict resolution: 'Staying in Community While in Conflict'.
We're bringing legal education out of the classroom and into community spaces. Come learn something useful, ask questions, and connect with others!
Whether you're navigating a difficult workplace situation, have questions about your rights as an employee, or simply want to be better informed, this workshop is for you. We'll cover common workplace issues, your legal rights and protections, and practical steps you can take to advocate for yourself and your coworkers.
Friday, November 13th | 6:00 PM
Phillips Brewing & Malting Co, 2010 Government St

Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available during the workshop, with alcoholic beverages available for purchase afterward.

All are welcome!
