UVic Faculty Concert: Masterworks for Piano Trio

Event Description

Join us for an inspiring evening of chamber music featuring UVic alumna and Brandon University violin professor Kerry DuWors, pianist Futaba Niekawa—recently appointed Head of Collaborative Piano at the University of Maryland, College Park—performing alongside UVic cello professor Pamela Highbaugh Aloni.

This exceptional trio will perform two monumental works from the piano trio repertoire: Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio, Op. 97 and Schubert’s majestic Trio in B-flat Major, D. 898. A concert not to be missed, filled with lyricism, brilliance, and musical camaraderie.
