Fright Night in Concert with GVCB Senior Band

Event Description

Come and enjoy a delightful frightful evening of music by the Senior performance ensemble of the Greater Victoria Concert Band. Fifty musicians under the direction of Dr. Mike Keddy will be on stage to entertain you with John Williams’ themes from the movie “Jaws”, exciting rhythms of Helmesberger’s “Danse Diabolique” and de Falla’s “Ritual Fire Dance”, and more including “October”, a beautiful reflective song by Eric Whitacre. This is a great way to celebrate the day before Halloween. There is something for the whole family!
