Event Description
Have you experienced being In & Out of Love throughout your life? Cara Lianne McLeod has created a show all about it, with personal anecdotes woven through jazz, pop, blues & a touch of classical music: tender and heartwarming in one moment, funny and vulnerable in the next.
Working closely with Neville Bowman (piano, vocals, and arrangements), the show features jazz standards like “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and “Beautiful Love”, duets like “You Don’t Know Me”, and original releases such as “This Love” & “Serendipity”.
From intimate backyard performances to concert hall stages, Cara has captivated audiences with her disarmingly joyous and meaningful approach to music. Her releases range from pop to blues, including Do You Really See Me?, co-written and produced by Michael Hanson (6x Juno-award winner). After three sold-out shows at the infamous Yardbird Suite, Cara was invited to return in the upcoming season with a new show.
Todd Crawshaw, Executive Director of the Suite, had this to say about Cara’s debut appearance: “...as compelling as it was popular. Her vocal chops are matched by her wit, personality, and choice of musicians…” In addition to her performing and recording projects, Cara also curates and hosts In & Out of Love, a radio show exploring love and relationships, which streams worldwide on Big E Radio.
Cara is thrilled to be joined by these stellar musicians once again, having appeared with them as a guest artist in 2025 with NBQ: Neville Bowman on piano and vocals, and Vancouver Island’s own Brian McMahon on bass and James McRae on drums.
