Event Description
Join us on the first Thursday of every month for an unforgettable evening celebrating raw talent and original music! We’re shining the spotlight on three handpicked local singer-songwriters, each bringing their unique voice, stories, and sound to the stage. Whether you're a music lover, a fellow artist, or just looking for an inspiring night out, this is your chance to experience the soul of our city—one song at a time. Come and support the magic of live, local music.
Adam Zonnis
Forced into violin lessons at the tender age of 5, with trumpet and music theory following in high school, Adam discovered in his early 20’s that all he ever wanted to do was rock out on the guitar.
He bought his first six-string while backpacking through Vietnam and taught himself to play, inspired by other musicians he met along the way.
Finding his calling as a songwriter soon followed, and he has since penned countless songs in various genres. He has played over 1000 live shows in 7 countries.
Jeremy Facknitz
Jeremy Facknitz's music is a throwback to when guitar slingin' singer-songwriters weren't afraid to "turn it up", look you in the eye and play more than the same tired four chords. He embodies the soul of an old-time troubadour, but bitten by a radioactive rockstar and smitten with jazz and musical theatre.
Carla Olive
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Carla Olive, draws from classical training, gospel-folk roots, and a deep love of pop/rock to create a distinctive, progressive sound. Her songs explore personal stories, social issues, and global concerns.
With over 25 years in music, she has released numerous albums, performed at venues and festivals across North America, freelanced with notable artists, and continues to write, collaborate, perform, and record.
Currently based in Victoria, BC, she actively performs solo, as a duo, or with a full band at a wide range of local venues, sharing both pop/rock covers and original material. She also serves as curator and lead guitarist for the all-female Women in Music tribute band St. Cecilia.
