THE TALE
The Empty Throne:
A Fantasy Unfolds
You are cordially invited to gather within the regal walls of The Spire, seat of the throne of the Kingdom of Ironwood, for an evening of celebration, intrigue, and destiny.

King Agnacious, known throughout the realm as “The Mad King”, has passed away, leaving Ironwood without an heir to its throne.
Now, in accordance with ancient tradition, the nobles, dignitaries, guild representatives, honoured guests, and esteemed visitors from across the realms have been summoned to the court. Together, you must help determine who shall guide Ironwood into its next chapter.
Two worthy claimants have answered the kingdom’s call, each offering a very different vision for Ironwood’s future.

JAH’TAU OF THE RIVERFOLK:
the charismatic negotiator whose trade alliances and delicate diplomacy have brought prosperity to Ironwood, enriching its people and strengthening its friendships both new and old.

GENERAL NADYA PRUSIK:
the celebrated commander whose victories against Ironwood’s enemies have safeguarded the realm through its darkest hours, earning the loyalty of soldiers and common folk alike.

BEFORE THE WEIGHTY DECISION IS MADE, HOWEVER…
The Court Shall Celebrate a New Era.
Feast upon fine fare. Wander a festival of merchants and artisans. Raise a glass among old friends and new acquaintances. Dance beneath vaulted ceilings as music fills the grand hall with song.

Yet beneath the merriment, whispers spread through the court. Loyalties shift. Secrets linger in shadowed corners. As the evening unfolds, the kingdom’s future may prove more complicated than anyone anticipated…

When the time comes, those assembled shall be called upon to take their place and declare where their support lies.

AN IMMERSIVE FANTASY GALA
FOR EVERYONE

No roleplaying required.
Throughout the evening, a cast of interactive characters will weave a light narrative around the festivities. Guests are welcome to engage as much or as little as they wish. Whether by conversing with nobles and magistrates, listening to courtly gossip, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of a living fantasy world.

Your presence alone helps shape the story.
Will you stand with Jah’tau? Will you support General Prusik?

Or will you weave another destiny for the Kingdom of Ironwood?

MacLeod the Bard
Your humble harper, bringing atmospheric and enchanting melodies to our fantasy setting. After a few meads, the dancing drum is known to come out!

A true bard, MacLeod goes where the music takes him, bringing along his trusty harp, lyre, and drum. His whimsical soundwaves will welcome guests to the event.

DJ Odin
A viking flung through time and space, DJ Odin performs musical rituals hoping to find the one spell that can send him home. His magic incantations include an evolving playlist of originals and classics to set the mood or get you moving on the dance floor!

A magical menu fit for mingling shall be served for all guests. Help yourself at any time to fare fit for a king or queen!

Items include platters of meats, cheeses, pickles, crackers, veggies, dips, fruits, desserts, and sandwiches (not sand witches). Gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Guests can purchase alcoholic beverages throughout the evening to sate their thirst. Some fantasy-themed options available, as well!

DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY ON A STUNNING HIGH-VAULTED DANCE FLOOR AT THE FOOT OF OUR MAJESTIC THRONE.


DANCE WORKSHOP
Enjoy a free lesson from the king’s favourite dancers! Learn the royal dance with a partner or solo. No experience required.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Simply come to the royal lounge at 9:00pm to become the dancer you were destined to be!

DANCE PERFORMANCES
Enjoy several fantasy-themed pole dance and burlesque performances by Dr. Crow and Ellievation throughout the evening.

We welcome you to snap a selfie, or pose for a portrait, in front of our beautiful fantasy backdrops! Designed by the photo shoot experts at Moonseed Productions.

Costume Contest
Sponsored by Nexus Kingston
Noble emissaries of the lands of Olympira, under the judgemental eye of the Queen of Thorns, shall host a special ceremony to recognize the stars amongst our most celestial guests.

No registration required, simply come to the Royal Lounge at 9:45pm to show off your style! Prizes awarded.

Timings are approximate and may be adjusted to suit the natural flow of the evening.

Royal Lounge, Bar, Banquet Hall, and Vendors in the Great Hall are open from 7:00-11:00pm.

The Throne Room & Dance Hall are open from the Welcome Ceremony until ~11:30pm.
