FUNK ON THE BOTTOM, WORLD JAZZ ON TOP! Come on a musical ride into space with Powerhouse Treeoh!, the brain child of guitar whiz, Wojtek Justyna from Poland! Thursday, August 20th, 2026 from 5-8pm, $10-20 cover.
The Wojtek Justyna TreeOh! fuses the energy of funk-jazz, the colors and rhythms of world music with fresh sonic explorations. Formed in Holland by Polish guitar player Wojtek Justyna who is recognized for his sound and versatility, the band consists of members from different parts of Europe: from Austria, bassist Daniel Lottersberger whose heavy groove is supported by a true festival of rhythm courtesy of funk drummer extraordinaire Alex Bernath, from Germany, and Portuguese percussion wizard Diogo Carvalho who also commands the Moog synthesizer. This gives Wojtek a thick, rich base for his singing, melodic guitar phrases to float on top of.

After extensively touring worldwide with their deliciously grooving two studio albums – “Definitely Something” (2015) and “Get That Crispy” (2018), the countless performances in clubs and renowned jazz festivals such as Jazz in Daegu (South Korea) Delft Jazz Festival, State-X New Forms, Bevrijdingsfestival (The Netherlands), Jazzmeile Thüringen, Jazzahead! (Germany) and Letni Festiwal Jazzowy (Poland) have earned the TreeOh! a reputation of an electrifying live act full of dynamics, colorful textures and fiery interplay between the band members.

On their upcoming album – “THRICE” (with special guest appearance by Larry Goldings) the musicians have combined their creative compositional talents to write a set of music that is packed with head nodding grooves, intriguing harmonies and vigorous melodies that are bound to captivate the listener. With the new release, the Wojtek Justyna TreeOh! has set out to make a bold band statement by pushing this guitar based group into new sonic territory through combining soaring fuzzy leads with the rootsy sounds of traditional African instruments and throbbing synth-bass lines.
