ABOUT
Eddy & The Dirty Boys It started with two old friends, a couple guitars, and true to form, two cases of Heineken. During the darker days of lockdown, longtime pals Jay Emmons and Mike “Monty” Montgomery sat down to write a tune that didn’t overthink itself. What came out of that session wasn’t just a song but the very DNA of Eddy and the Dirty Boys - a return to the kind of rock and roll that was loud, loose, and unapologetically fun. Just like that, Eddy and the Dirty Boys were born.Blurring the lines between country grit and rock swagger, Eddy and the Dirty Boys channel the spirit of The Faces, The Rolling Stones, and yes, even Jimmy Buffett on a bender. Their songs are tailor-made for sticky bar floors, half-spilled drinks, and full-throated singalongs. The live show hits like a shot of whiskey; loud, fast, and right in the chest - led by Emmons’ unmistakable growling vocal, Montgomery’s tasteful leads, and a killer rhythm section: Steve Kirstein (Local Pressure, The Glorious Sons) on rhythm guitar, Adam Paquette (The Glorious Sons) behind the kit, and Claude Northey (Boston Levi) holding down the low end on the bass.Their debut single, a raucous take on Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues,” drops this summer, just in time to hit the road with guitars in hand and trouble not far behind. “If this stops being fun…we just won’t do it anymore.”
