Event Description
Submissions are now open for the 2025 Brain Art Contest & Showcase, hosted by the Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health (IALH), the CARING Dementia Collaborative, and the Mental Health Research Cluster at the University of Victoria. This year’s theme is Community & Mental Health, encouraging participants to reflect on how connection, support, and resilience shape our well-being across the lifespan.
Entry Deadline: Monday, June 16 at 4:00pm
Showcase & Awards Ceremony: Monday, June 23, 11:00am–2:00pm at the Petch Fountain, UVic.
Prizes: Three age-category winners + one People’s Choice Award!
Who Can Participate?
Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome — no artistic experience required.
Age Categories:
• Young Creators (12 & under)
• Teen & Youth Visions (13–24)
• Adult Reflections (25+)

[email protected] or drop off in person at IALH, R Hut, 3800 Finnerty Rd., weekdays 9am–4pm.
