From Nanaimo on the misty shores of Vancouver Island emerges ‘From The Earth’, an indie-folk duo whose music embodies the energy and rugged beauty of the West Coast. Comprised of singer-songwriters Michelle Edwardson & Mike Bauche, this dynamic duo weaves intricate harmonies, infectious personalities, and expressive lyrics that resonate with the natural world.
Rooted in upbeat and emotional folk, their sound carries echoes of timeless melodies, infused with a contemporary twist that speaks to modern audiences. From The Earth released their debut album "Too Far To Rest" (2024) as a follow-up to their debut EP "My Whole Life" (2023). Drawing inspiration from the untamed landscapes of Vancouver Island, "Too Far To Rest" is a testament to the band's dedication to telling meaningful stories through their music.
