Concert description: Celebrate the summer with an evening of vibrant chamber music performed by the acclaimed faculty of our Summer Intensive Program for Strings. The concert features the dynamic sound world of Canadian composer John Estacio, the earthy rhythms and folk-inspired energy of Zoltán Kodály’s Duo for Violin and Cello, and the exuberance of Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in D major. Don’t miss this chance to hear Müge Büyükçelen, Nancy DiNovo, Clayton Leung and Brian Yoon in a performance that highlights the artistry and passion at the core of our summer program.
Venue Accessibility
The 900 Johnson Street entrance is at ground-level and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator located on the first floor: as you enter the building go down the ramp to your right and the elevator is on the left at the bottom. Priority seating can be provided at concerts if you have accessibility issues; please contact the Venues Department. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the main floor, beside the lobby in the Reception and Registration area.
