Event Description

We’ve challenged some of our favourite Vancouver Island bars to get creative and craft a signature cocktail using Merridale’s small-batch spirits. From bold and boozy to fresh and fruity, each bartender has brought their own unique twist to the table—showcasing the versatility and flavour of our handcrafted spirits.

This is your chance to explore the local cocktail scene, one Merridale creation at a time. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just in it for the fun, each stop promises something delicious, unexpected, and totally worth the trip.

Every cocktail tells a story. We challenge you to try them all.

After tasting a bar’s featured Merridale cocktail, you’ll receive a special voting card—your key to making your vote count. Each card comes with a unique QR code and password tied to that bar, so voting stays fair and exclusive to those who’ve had the drink.

Once you vote, you’re officially part of the challenge—helping shine a light on your favourite bartender’s creativity and flavour. Your voice helps decide who comes out on top.

The bar with the most votes (and tastiest cocktail) will take home the grand prize— so every vote makes a difference. The Winner will be announced May 31st.

Every vote you cast enters you into a draw to win the ultimate orchard escape— a 2-night stay in our cozy, Merridale Yurts nestled in the heart of our beautiful farm in Cobble Hill.

Wake up surrounded by nature, sip cider under the stars, and relax in comfort—you choose the dates (subject to availability), so you can plan your perfect retreat.

Plus, enjoy a $100 voucher to use at our on-site Eatery, where we serve farm-to-table dishes that pair perfectly with our ciders and spirits.
