Hey! Truly here, it’s been a minute… Dropping in to announce a party I’m really excited about 🙂
May 2nd we welcome two neighbours from Seattle into our local basement— Manwell(Riviera) and ctrl.mp3, with support from Resident Yours Truly , & Lockie for journey that’ll span from house, techno, left field shiznits, disco, and beyond!
Manwell is a DJ from the East Coast of South Florida, now planting roots in Seattle. With a passion for dance, soul, and funk music. Manwell began his DJ journey to share his love for these genres with the world. As he delved deeper into the world of dance music, he discovered a profound connection with Deep House, Tech House, UK Garage, and Techno. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of the early 90s to mid 2000s Chicago, New York, and Detroit house and techno scene, as well as the current minimal deep tech European scene, he began crafting his own unique sound. It wasn’t long before he found his home in Seattle’s rich and tight-knit dance music community. The city’s vibrant scene and array of talented artists, DJs, and producers fueled his ambition, pushing him to develop his skills and refine his sound.
CTRL.MP3 aka Arel is a force in the PNW scene and known as your DJs fav DJ from being behind the scenes to in front. He brings a huge range of sounds spanning from classic house to groovy techno to bouncy club trax with wild blending and crazy basslines.
