Event Description
Human life is but an instant in the life of the cosmos, so how can we possibly understand the life cycle of galaxies over the course of billions of years? Explore how we can use the properties of “supermassive black holes” to learn how galaxies form and evolve, and learn about some very recent results from the James Webb Space Telescope. We’ll also spend some time on a related topic: do satellite constellations threaten the dark and quiet skies, and how?
