Event Description

Planet Earth Poetry is the longest running poetry open mic and literary event in Victoria--this is our 29th year! We celebrate two poets with new books every Friday night from Sept-June (with a break in Dec). This Friday our season kick-off begins with an All Open Mic night--we read our favourite poems by a poet other than ourselves. We'll also have a book sale fundraiser--all books $5! Proceeds go directly to bringing literary poets from all over Canada to share their new work here in Victoria. For more details, please visit planetearthpoetry.com
