Event Description

When Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot’s husband dies suddenly at the age of 30, the 27-year-old widow steps up to manage the winemaking business he left behind. Overcoming sexism, rival businessmen and even the outbreak of the Napoleonic Wars, the Widow Clicquot builds a champagne empire that will last for centuries. Haley Bennett (Cyrano, The Magnificent Seven) stars as the titular Widow Clicquot.”
