Event Description

Join us for this educational and creative drop-in workshop here at the Maritime Museum of British Columbia! Participants learn how to create their own linocut bookmark or postcard sized prints, while learning more about the ecologically and biologically diverse Salish Sea, the organisms that live there, and the environmental risk factors that threaten their lives and ecosystems.
This workshop is FREE with admission to the museum - $8 for seniors and students, $5 for youth 12-17, $10 for adults, and children are always free.
Come and try a fun new artistic medium while learning more about coastal habitats! Since admission is included, you are welcome to browse the museum before or after your drop-in. The drop-in workshop runs from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The museum opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 4:30 PM.

Please note: This workshop is developed for adult participation, but kids are free to come watch, listen, and visit the museum.

Additionally, this workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 participants at a time - if you arrive and there are 4 people working, you may have to wait 10-15 minutes before you can join in and start creating.
