Event Description
The 9th!
Created by award winning choreographers, Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbek, The 9th!" provides an immersive experience that captures the essence of freedom and resilience witnessed during the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Through narratives of families separated and reunited, the production delves into the universal struggle against personal barriers. The athleticism and intense physicality of the choreography serve as poignant reminders of the human struggle behind each dancer. As they transcend performance constraints, raw emotions and vulnerabilities are revealed, inviting audiences to confront their own inner obstacles.
The production serves as a platform for reflection on historical events, emphasizing the significance of breaking down both physical and metaphorical walls. Ultimately, "The 9th!" celebrates the triumph of human connection and solidarity, fostering an understanding of the complexities of liberation and unity.
