On June 9 and 10 violinist Isabella d’Éloize Perron will make her EKSM debut. Isabella will play two important works for solo violin: the magnificent Chaconne from J.S. Bach’s Partita No. 2 in D minor, and the intriguing and immersive Sonata No. 5 in G major by Eugene Ysaye. She will be joined by pianist Monica Pfau in works by Elizabeth Raum and K. Symanowsky. Clarinetist David Bourque, violinist Tori Gould, violist Kenji Fuse, and cellist (and EKSM’s co-Artistic Director) Laura Backstrom will also be on hand for performances of Mozart’s beloved Clarinet Quintet in A major, and the bitter-sweet Trio in G minor for two violins and cello by Borodin.
