🎸 Millet (Rock, Pop, Funk)
Victoria-based band, Millet, was formed in November 2022 to compete in the Battle of the Bands at the University of Victoria (and to put on a killer party!) Out of 16 talented groups, Millet emerged victorious, leaving Felicita’s Pub patrons everywhere shocked and amazed. They have gone on to perform at the UVic Surf Club’s latest two board meetings, selling out shows at the Victoria Event Centre and Upstairs Cabaret. They also rocked the stage at Victoria’s famous 2023 Prawn Fest. Millet has shared the stage with local legends such as Peanut Butter Telephone and Thirst Trap. Flavours of funk, rock, jazz, and pop combine to create the Millet experience.
🥁 Head With Feet (Post Indie Rock)
We are Head with Feet! A post rock band out of Victoria that was formed from a love of live performance. Some songs lean more punk and others more pop, but you can always expect dynamic grooves and a driving energy. We've got smooth trumpet lines, catchy choruses, and colour coordination, influenced by artists like the Talking Heads, the Parquet Courts, and Sarah Kinsley.
🎤 Sofia Miller (Alternative, Folk Pop)
Sofia Miller is an independent solo artist, producer based in Victoria, British Columbia. She has made her most recent mark with her first full-length studio album, "Prologue". Recorded in Montreal with producer Guillaume Guilbault, this record reflects Sofia's personal journey of moving from the East to the West of Canada, addressing the growing pains and the profound realizations that come with one's early 20s. From her creative guitar licks to her soft airy falsetto, 'Prologue' is full of Sofia's untaught, unique sonics but this time backed with an all-star band and a hifi sound. This release is her fullest realization as an artist thus far as she departs from her makeshift bedroom sound to a more vivid and rich aural world.
🎵 Sweet Delirium (Shoegaze, Post-Punk, R&B)
Sweet Delirium is a 4-piece band based in Victoria, British Columbia, and consists of Irene Paule, Tev Uslu, Liam St. John and Greg Bertado. An eclectic mix of dreampop, shoegaze and R&B are showcased by melancholy instrumentation & soulful vocals. The band's debut single 'Necessities' was recorded and released through bandcamp during March 2020 and the band is currently in the recording process of their first album.
