Event Description

Gary Karr, Harmon Lewis, and members of KarrKamp

They are back! Once more the esteemed Gary Karr, Harmon Lewis, and members of KarrKamp school for bassists fill the Recital Hall with the astounding and magical thunder of sixteen contrabasses and piano, served up with plenty of wit and panache. Nowhere else on earth can you hear such a concert. This celebration of the contrabass is an annual event at the Festival.
