What happens when the people who know you best are losing their livelihoods for the sake of your cause? Peace Country follows the lives of childhood friends who grew up in small-town northern BC. The topical play weaves the stories of their intercultural friendship, the challenges of making a living in the north and the fury they face from environmentalists in the south – all in the midst of climate change.
