Event Description
Featuring some of Victoria’s brightest and best, the Victoria Conservatory of Music (VCM) is proud to present the Spark to Flame Student Showcase on Saturday, March 12th at 7:30pm in Alix Goolden Hall. This in-person concert is a magical evening of exciting works for 7 emerging young musicians accompanied by the VCM Chamber Orchestra, VCM faculty, local professional musicians and led by Maestro Timothy Vernon.
The VCM’s Spark to Flame program supports emerging artists’ development and is open to all students. Selected through audition, students work with VCM faculty to develop their professional, artistic, and performance skills leading up to the concert. It’s a high caliber performance that fuels the love of music for all that attend!
